New UCLA coach Jim Mora.

That sound you heard shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday was the huge sigh of relief coming from UCLA fans when new Bruin coach Jim Mora tweeted:
Welcome to the first four members of our class: DT Ellis McCarthy, LB Jeremy Castro, QB Devin Fuller and LB Nate Iese
Among those sighing was likely Mora. For weeks Mora has privately said he was excited about the class he and his staff were putting together but he always added the disclaimer that you never know for sure ?until the (national letters of intent) start coming through the fax.?
Wednesday?s morning Mora?s fax delivered two major coups.
The signing of McCarthy, the nation?s defensive tackle prospect, gives UCLA immediate help at an area that has been a major problem the past two seasons. The signing also sends the message that the Bruins can go head-t0-head with Pac-12 powers USC and Oregon as well as top national schools on a top prospect and win.
Fuller gives UCLA an added option at a quarterback spot that has had few in recent years. Whether Fuller ends up at quarterback or wide receiver he is an exciting talent that turned a lot of heads for Mora and his new staff.
