UCLA at Stanford: Who has the edge?
For months we've heard UCLA say it has more depth than in recent memory, with the personnel on offense to exploit all areas of the field, and the personnel on defense to play fast and apply pressure on the quarterback. After four games, we're still waiting to see that UCLA team.
If the Bruins have such potential in them, this would be the week for its coaching staff to let it out. They have better running backs than Stanford. They have better receivers. They have a quarterback coming into his own and a defense coming off its best performance of the season.
They also have no distractions and far less pressure to win, what with Stanford being near-three touchdown favorites and trying to position itself for a national title run.
So can UCLA actually pull of the upset in Palo Alto?
